A very heartfelt welcome to our newest Official Awesome Specialty Gourmet Sondra Keesler!

Sondra recently wrote this Awesome letter:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Gobs of Garlic!, Yikes! and WOW! Seasoning Blends!!
I use them all the time now - I make my own garlic toast with Gobs of Garlic!, toss red-skinned potato wedges with oil and Yikes and make my own roasted potatoes, and I use WOW! to make my chili. I’ve used the blends in salads and homemade salad dressing, as rubs for chicken, and more. I’ve always got them handy to just toss in to whatever dish I’m making. I’ll toss fresh veggies with a little olive oil and any of the Awesome Specialty blends and grill them in my stovetop grill pan.
I’ve just ordered more of each, because I’ve used them so much - and I’ve shared them with my sister and her husband.
Your seasoning blends are perfect for someone like me, who enjoys food but doesn’t know much about which herbs and spices to use for what dishes.
Thanks for making my time in the kitchen easier and for making me look good when family and friends think I’ve worked harder than I have on meals!

I’m so glad I found you!
Have a great weekend!

I forgot to mention two of my faves: I mix in Yikes! with ground turkey to make both chili and turkey tacos.

No more little seasoning envelopes!

AWESOME GOBS OF GARLIC! KNOTS!
1 can/tube of Pillsbury Dinner Rolls
3 TBSP of Olive Oil
Gobs of Garlic  (to taste-about 1 TBSP per roll)

I separated the rolls out of the can and dipped them into the olive oil.
I then dipped them into a bowl of Gobs.
I then placed the rolls onto a greased cookie sheet.
I baked the rolls for 11-13 minutes at 375.
(These were the directions on the tube.)
The garlic had a very strong, but good, flavor.
The next time I make these rolls I think I will sprinkle the
Gobs onto the rolls instead of coating it the way I did this time.
The people I had sample my cooking experiment
enjoyed the rolls very much.
I think I will take the advice of a wise woman I know
and start out slow with Gobs, until I’m ready for it’s kick!  :)

Gobs Of Garlic! Deep Fried Turkey
Filed under: General, Awesome Recipe Ideas, Awesome WOW! YIKES! And GOBS OF GARLIC!

Hi there:

I just wanted to share a recipe with you.

I made a marinade/ injection sauce for my Deep Fried Turkey.

3 tbsp of Gobs of Garlic-finely ground

(an attempt to make it small enough for the injector)

  1 Cup of Oil

1 Cup of White Zinfandel wine

1 tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce

In a small sauce pan, warm the Oil and wine over a low heat.

Add the Worcestershire Sauce and the ground up Gobs of Garlic.

Allow to simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.

(I let it sit over night)

Pour mixture through some cheese cloth to separate the larger parts of seasoning.

Use the liquid to inject the turkey, rub some of the separated seasonings

on the outside of the turkey, refrigerate overnight.

Rub the turkey again and then place 3 gloves of garlic,

2 smashed and one whole into the cavity of the turkey

along with one whole large onion.

Place turkey into the deep fryer.

The flavor was fantastic, the onion was tasty also.

You should have tasted the turkey.

It was the 1st time there was no turkey left over.

It was literally picked clean.

WOW! Marinated Chicken Tenders

Awesome WOW Marinaded Chicken!

1 Tbsp. of Wow!

I added EVOO to the spice until it made a semi thick mixture.

(probably about 1/3 cup of the oil)

Once the spices activated it seemed to thicken

so I added about 3 Tbsp. of water.

I mixed the mixture until all the spices were saturated.

I bought chicken breast tenders and put them in a Tupperware container

with the Wow! Marinade.

I let it sit overnight and then baked it for about 30 min at 350.

It was tender and juicy and full of flavor.

I can’t wait to try other recipes.

I took some of the leftovers to work and everyone raved about my cooking.

I knew it had nothing to do with my cooking, it was the Wow!
